Clean red cloth boards with gold lettering on cover and spine. No bumping or fraying. Slight fading at top and bottom spine edges. Binding is tight & square, pages and edges are clean. Clean map-illustrated endpapers; tasteful previous owner bookplate on back side of front free endpaper. 266 pages. Color frontis illustration, plus illustrations throughout by Putnam Brinley. Clean dustjacket is not price clipped, has a few small shallow chips at top and bottom of spine edge, a few tiny closed edge tears. Enclosed in new archival quality mylar cover. An exploration of Cape Breton Island, that fascinating bit of land flung far out into the Atlantic off the northeastern end of Nova Scotia, by the author of "Away to the Gaspe." 8vo. Nova Scotia.
