Clean Kent style illustrated endpapers with no names, writing or bookplates. 151 pgs. with illustrations by the author. Stated First Modern Library Edition on copyright page - however, this remained on the copyright page through several printings. This is a later printing as there are 304 Modern Library titles listed on reverse side of dustjacket (the first printing is either blank or lists 278 titles on reverse side of dustjacket).
