Modern Library no. 165 - Toledano binding no 8. Red cloth boards with black title box, gold lettering on cover and spine. No fraying or wear, a few very faint spots of fading to spine. Binding is tight & square, pages and edges are clean, with clean black top-stained page edges. Clean Kent style endpapers; no names, writing or marks. Introduction by Ernest Boyd. 492 pp. Illustrated jacket is unclipped (sticker remnant over price at top of front inside flap), tiny spine corner chips & very short closed edge tears, light soiling to spine (faint water spots). 322 titles listed on verso of jacket.
