Scarce early American booklet of lithographs on the true meaning of beauty. The American Toilet. New York: Imbert's Lithographic Office, 1827. Size: 4-5/8" x 3-5/8". Twenty page small lithograph booklet, each lithograph with liftable flap revealing text underneath. Bound with original string on left edge, no covers. A few of the flaps are missing, and some of these pages have slight damage (holes where flap was removed). Others are in perfect condition. Lithographs are black and white and have not been colored. 023734
