Very clean book, but has a few spots of wear to bottom board edges and about 1" cracking to cloth at lower spine gutter. Inscribed and SIGNED by author on front free endpaper (association copy): "For my friend Bob Smith - Journalist, traveler in the Indian Territory - a "child that takes notes" on the American scene - V. V. Masterson "Scotty" Dec. 15, 1952." Illustrated with photographs, drawings and maps. 312 pages with index. Dust jacket is unclipped (4.00 on front inside flap), lots of edge chipping, light soiling. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. 025445
