Interesting and unique privately printed hardcover book by Leon V. Almirall with text and many photographs on hunting coyotes in the American West with sight hounds. Book size approx. 8" x 11". Dark brown cloth with illustrated cover (Russian wolfhound standing in the desert, four decorative medallions of coyote head with fangs bared.) Cover has a few spots from moisture, wear-through to corners and edges, a little mouse gnawing at corners. Binding is tight, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages are clean. No mustiness. No names, writing or marks. Great photographs, along with wonderful illustrations (sketches) by Henry J. Meloy and Arthur M. Heinemann. Ten chapters, unpaginated. Very scarce. 025825
