Laid into the book is page 1 of Vol. XV. - No. 752 of Harper's Weekly - date of publication New York, Saturday, May 27, 1871, which contains some "Farm Ballads" by Will M. Carleton, on full front page and on a second page. Book condition: Very clean. Tiny spot of wear to one corner tip, small surface tear to cloth at base of spine (1/4"). Bevelled board edges. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Chocolate brown endpapers, with previous owner inscription neatly penned on front free endpaper dated Aug. 6th, 1888.
