Second printing of the first English edition in original unclipped dust jacket. Translated by Lucienne Hill, with a Preface by Maurice Chavalier. Clean blue cloth boards with light blue dancing girl on cover, gold lettering on spine. No fading or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Browning to endpapers from jacket flaps - no writing or bookplates. 32 pages of photo illustrations. 147 pages. Clean bright illustrated jacket has a few small chips at spine corners, is not price clipped (12s. 6d. net on front inside flap). Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. One of the most famous theaters in the world in Paris, France is revealed here by the man who was its director for many years.
