First Edition, in original illustrated jacket. Clean red cloth boards with black title box on cover and spine. No bumping or wear. A narrow line (less than 1/8") of slight fading at top spine edge, extending slightly to top front board edge. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages are clean, with a little foxing to preliminaries and some light dust speckling to text block edges. Clean endpapers; no names, writing or bookplates. 252 pages + 4 pages of publisher's advertising at rear of book. Delightfully illustrated dust jacket is price clipped at lower corner of front inside flap, has two small edge chips, separated at front spine edge. Small red circular sticker (blank) on lower spine. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A satirical novel in which Albert Pawsey, a little Cockney "medium" gets in touch wit hthe spirit of Dean Swift, who dictates to him a sequel to Gullver's Travels.
