"First Edition" stated on copyright page, in clean original dust jacket. Clean dark green cloth boards with white illustration of two children on horseback on cover. No bumping or wear. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with clean illustrated endpapers. No names, writing or marks. Illustrated by Gordon Ross. 309 pages. Dust jacket has very small chips at spine corners, a few short closed edge tears and some edge wrinkling on rear panel, price clip to upper corner of front inside flap (partial price showing). Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. An absosrbing horse story full of mysterious happenings at a hideout in a cove by the river, where the Terrill boys and their sister, Dibs, along with the English girl and boy staying for the summer at nearby Edgemont, spend days building their camp and riding horses.
