(There are a few instances of marginal notes or underlining by a previous owner in these volumes). Both are edited by David Grene and Richmond Lattimore. Descriptions follow: Aeschylus I - This is a first Modern Library edition with 393 titles listed on inverse of dust jacket, Toledano binding no 8. Clean light gray cloth boards with black title box, gold lettering on cover and spine. No fraying or wear; binding is tight and square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with black top-stained upper page edges, Kent style endpapers. Tiny name neatly printed on front free endpaper. 245 pages. Dust jacket is unchipped, has a few short closed edge tears, price clipped at upper corner of front inside flap. Aeschylus II - Clean blue cloth boards with blind-stamped hexagonal logo on cover, gold lettering on spine. Later printing. (Toledano binding no. 11). No fading, bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, pages and edges are clean and bright with clean Kent style endpapers. No names or bookplates. 147 pages. Clean dust jacket is unchipped, no tears, price clipped at upper corner of front inside flap, does have small "vol. 2" neatly penned on lower spine.
