No bumping or wear. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean, with clean illustrated endpapers. No names, writing or marks. Illustrated with etchings by Max Kuehne. 333 pages with index. Clean dust jacket is not price clipped (3.00 on front inside flap), has chip at rear top spine corner, short closed edge tears, very shallow chipping at top and bottom spine ends (1/16"), small spot of rubbing to front panel (smaller than a pea).
